Do you need a current event activity to help students explore the modern history between Russia and Ukraine? Then download this Russia and Ukraine Research Project WebQuest! This no prep activity leads students on an exploration of the modern history between Russia and Ukraine. Topics covered include country information, biographical information on the Presidents, NATO, the Maidan Revolution, the annexation of Crimea, events in the Donbas region, and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia on February 24, 2022.
This WebQuest does not intend to provide an in-depth quest into the historical relationship between Russia and Ukraine. Rather, it intends to provide basic background information to help students better understand the current situation.
Some questions students will locate easily while others they will have to explore deeper to uncover. This WebQuest can be completed individually, in pairs, or in small groups. Great for homework, small group activities, sub plans, and virtual learning.

The Loire Valley is famous for beautiful castles like Chambord and Chenonceau, but France is loaded with hundreds of other gorgeous historic castles! With this project, your students will research one of 25 famous French châteaux, create captivating travel videos, present their videos to the class, and vote to select the top 3 castles. This unique student-led virtual field trip combines research, creativity, presentation skills, and cultural understanding, offering an interactive and fun learning experience.
