In this activity students will collect and object for every activity they complete.

This helps students be accountable and engaged in the Breakout activity. Teachers can opt to cut of the pieces and give to students or to simply check off the activities they have completed. ✅

I consider this to be an inspiring lesson that will make a positive impact in your classroom.

⭐️You can use it at the end of a unit, when teaching art or muralism, for cultural focus in class, to spark creativity in students, to provide ample activities in the classroom and to hook students!

• El Breakout comienza con la lectura de que es el muralismo y un poco de su historia. Después preguntas para rellenar. Cada actividad les brinda un objeto a los estudiantes. La maestra puede hacer el Breakout más interactivo dándoles estos objetos, o puede ser simplemente un visual a través del estudio del muralismo.

• He incluido una actividad interactiva con un link a mi blog: en este enlace los estudiantes pueden ver las obras de los mencionados anteriormente. Este enlace hace que la lección sea motivadora y visual.

A fun Christmas activity for the classroom!

A variety of activities:

⭐Challenge 1: Identify popular Christmas Icons in Mexico

⭐Challenge 4: Read a Recipe and re-create it.

⭐Challenge 5: Word Search

⭐Challenge 6: Read about La Roscas de Reyes and about el día de los reyes

⭐Bonus Challenge: Short-Answer questions for students needing a challenge or extra work.

✏️Teachers can pass out (after student is done with the challenge) the secret icon that comes with each challenge, or have students write/draw it on the answer sheet.

This is a fun activity that will expose students to Las Posadas, Aguinaldos, el ponche navideño and las piñatas...and many other cultural pieces that make up the Christmas time in Mexico.

Una divertida actividad navideña para el aula. Una variedad de actividades: Desafío 1: Identificar íconos navideños populares en México. Desafío 2: Responder preguntas a partir de la lectura. Desafío 3: Responder preguntas a partir de la lectura. Desafío 4: Leer una receta y recrearla. Desafío 5: Sopa de letras. Desafío 6: Leer sobre La Rosca de Reyes y sobre el Día de los Reyes. Desafío adicional: Preguntas de respuesta corta para estudiantes que necesiten un desafío o trabajo extra.
Los maestros pueden entregar (después de que el estudiante haya completado el desafío) el ícono secreto que viene con cada desafío, o pueden hacer que los estudiantes lo escriban/dibujen en la hoja de respuestas.
Esta es una actividad divertida que expondrá a los estudiantes a Las Posadas, Aguinaldos, el ponche navideño y las piñatas... y muchas otras piezas culturales que conforman la época navideña en México.
