This can be a fun activity during October or during Halloween. Have the students solve the monster's triple digit addition and subtraction equations. This 3-digit addition and subtraction worksheet has students practice regrouping numbers. This worksheet also comes with two different extension activities for your students who may finish fast. One page is all addition practice and the other is all subtraction practice. Then there is one page where the problems are mixed and students will need to pay attention to whether they add or subtract the 3-digit numbers.

Extension Activities: A fun extension sheet can be stapled to students worksheet to give them a little extra challenge.

1. Once they have found their answer by adding or subtracting the number, they can color the monster red or blue based off if the solution is odd or even.

5. Include a classroom photo: Include a photo of your classroom or a group picture from a previous school event on the card. This will give students a glimpse of their future learning environment and the opportunity to see their potential classmates.
