All of the STEM activities in this packet follow a 5-step process:

Introduction- This is the part of the lesson where the teacher defines the challenge and the students begin to brainstorm solutions. There are no right or wrong answers during this part of the lesson.

Planning- Students work together (usually with a partner or in a small group) to come up with a potential solution for the challenge.

Construction- This is the building stage!

Testing- The students test their designs to see if they have solved the problem, and met the challenge.

Evaluation- The students critique their designs and think about what they might change.

Growing Bundle of Adaptive Books!

This is a 3 day sub plan/E-Learning Days packet that includes activities for ELA, Math, and Science. Each day includes 4 ELA activities, 2 Math activities, and 1 Science activity. (21 Total Activities)

In ELA, the students will practice inflectional endings, parts of speech, Creative Writing, and Comprehension questions.

In Math, the students will practice place value, number sense, and addition/subtraction with/without regrouping.

In Science, students will practice Season and Weather, Parts of a plant, and What animals need to survive.

This product is no prep! So all you need to do is print off the packets (or assign them virtually), and for comprehension, either choose a book for the sub to read on that day, or have students read from their independent reading books.

In this product, different forms of energy are reviewed. Students will learn that energy exists in other forms, what energy is, how you can't always see energy, stored energy vs. energy in motion and examples for students to make connections with each, kinetic energy, examples of kinetic energy for students to make connections with it in real life, students will locate and circle the different kinds of kinetic energy, potential and kinetic energy and how it can go back and forth (picture explanations are also included to provide a visual), different forms of energy - electrical, light, sound, thermal, chemical, and mechanical energy are reviewed - their meanings and examples of each along with pictures so students can make connections with what they are learning in their personal life, what matter is and how it is in chemical energy, and energy transformation picture examples are provided. Students will then be required to write down the different types of energy that change to other kinds of energy when they are provided with picture examples.
