Use this banner to select a student weekly. I hang ribbon under the banner and clip the child's name to it. I also teach two sections so I actually hang two ribbons! The kids love seeing who will be selected each week! I try not to base the student of the week on grades and try to focus more on improvement shown, effort, etc. I give each child a small certificate that they can take home, and the best part is that they also get to visit the treasure chest! I made these png file clip art letters to go with my Hollywood Stars theme that I will be using in my classroom this August. After finishing the file, I thought I'd share it with you! This is NOT a font. It is a clip art set of letters that you use just like any other picture, layering and sizing it to suit your needs. The background is red with stars and dots, and matches one of the backgrounds used in my Hollywood Madness class decor theme. With this set you get: 26 letters - all capital. No lowercase. 10 digits - 0 to 9 A sample powerpoint file with instructions for how to make these letters larger or smaller in powerpoint, and sample slides with my door title "THIRD GRADE STARS" already laid out in aprx. a 4 inch size.
