This Managing Worry and Anxiety Activity is a quick-prep, easy way to get students thinking about their circle of control and how they can better manage their emotions. This activity outlines ways to deal with anxiety and provides coping strategies for worry and anxiety. This is the perfect resource for elementary students struggling with anxiety or managing excessive worry.
Students explore what worry means, their type of worry, how worry makes them feel, ways to take control of their worry, ways to manage worry, and what strategies to control their worry may work best for them. In the end, students will have a better understanding of their circle of control and how to manage their big emotions.
