The areas that are reviewed on the rubric are as follows: writing a friendly letter and including a heading, greeting, closing, and signature, staying on task, grammar/punctuation/spelling, and working with others. This rubric scores the friendly letter writing assignment out of 15 possible points. The rating scale use is a 3, 2, 1, & 0.

pre-primer sight words - 40 words
primer sight words - 52 words
1st grade sight words - 41 words
2nd grade sight words - 46 words
3rd grade sight words - 41 words
4th grade sight words - 260 words
You can go through each checklist up to 4 times a year or each quarter to see how students have progressed with automatically identifying each sight word. At the end of the each sight word checklist, you can determine how many sight words students were able to atomically identify in last row.
