Verb Tenses Grammar Activity for Elementary English Class Review

Are you looking for an engaging grammar activity to review verb tenses? Do your students struggle with using the irregular, past, and past participle tenses? Then download this Verb Tenses Activity! Using the 100 most common verbs, students can practice the various verb forms. This is a no prep activity that can be used virtually or in class.
Students roll the dice, say or write the past tense of the verb on the answer sheet. The first student who completes one row, column, or diagonally wins the game!
This resource comes with various gameboards and answer sheets making differentiating instruction fun and easy!

3 unique gameboards with different verbs on each

Version 1: There are 24 spaces for students to write their answers.

Clothes I Have Who Has? and Cut and Paste Picture Dictionary (British English)

Fun and engaging way to teach 28 items of clothing and accessories AND the use of articles (A / AN and ZERO ARTICLE). Contains 29 I Have, Who Has...? cards and a DIY picture dictionary - pupils cut and glue pictures and words onto the correct sheet based on the use of articles. Low prep, just print out and cut up. British English.
Contains:
29 I Have, Who Has...? cards
1 set of picture cards
3 sets of word cards
2 sheets to glue onto
How to use:
Print out, cut up. It can be played in small or large groups. Hand out all of
the cards to pupils, each has roughly the same number of cards. The student
with the 1st card starts by asking Who has...? The pupil with the matching
card replies and asks Who has...? The game finishes when pupils get to the
last card.
During the activity teacher monitors the correct use of articles (A / AN /
ZERO ARTICLE)!
2. Cut and Glue Picture Dictionary
Each pupil gets 1 set of picture cards and 1 set of word cards. Pupils cut them
out. They can either glue them onto the provided sheets or in their notebooks.
Make sure they glue the picture and word cards in the correct article
category.

This subject and predicate game will be a great review for students! Not only does the game reinforce subject and predicate skills, the game uses many Fry Fluency Phrases as part of the sentences. The game includes over 30 sentences, a game board that covers two pieces of paper, and an answer key. The sentences are printed on strips so the students, this helps the student identify the subject and predicate. This game is a great resource for literacy centers, small groups, or partner work.

Directions: Match the fish and other sea creatures to make a compound word. Complete all the matches and find the treasure!

Pumpkin Pairs Compound Words Game

Players: 2-4
Materials:
+ Cut out and laminated pumpkins
+ Black and White Pumpkins
+ Color Pumpkins
+ Blank Pumpkins to create your own compound words
Directions:
Place pumpkins face down. Students will pick two
pumpkins and decide whether or not they make a
compound word together. If the words make a
compound word the student gets to keep those those pumpkins. If the words do not make a compound word the student flips them back over. Then the next player takes a turn. The student with the most pumpkin pairs wins.
