My Favorite Thanksgiving Food Opinion Writing: Graphic Organizers & Paper

Make Thanksgiving writing fun with this opinion writing resource focused on students' favorite Thanksgiving foods! This is the perfect no prep writing activity for the month of November. It is perfect for elementary classrooms. Students will express their opinions, support their choice with reasons, and practice structured writing. With easy-to-use graphic organizers and festive writing paper, students will enjoy sharing their favorite holiday dishes while developing strong opinion-writing skills.
The students will decide what their favorite Thanksgiving food is and then defend their opinion by writing an opinion piece. Use one of the two graphic organizers to help students organize their thoughts before starting the writing process. Differentiate your writing projects by giving different students different graphic organizers. Once the student is ready to write, there are four different writing paper to write their essay on.
