These clip cards are a great way to test students’ knowledge of telling the time using a physical multiple choice system. It includes o’clock, half past, quarter past & to and 10 & 1 minute intervals, and contains converting between analogue clock & 12 hour, analogue clock & word form, Word form & 12 hour, and 12 hour & 24 hour. The given possible answers have been carefully chosen to allow teachers to spot any misconceptions students may have about telling the time. The idea of this activity is that students work out the correct conversion of the given time, then clip a clothespin/peg or a paperclip to what they think is the correct answer. This activity works equally well when the cards are laminated. Students simply circle the correct answer using a dry erase marker. Alternatively, you can print these on paper, hand out to your class at the end of the lesson, so they can put their names on and circle the correct answer, serving as a great exit ticket/plenary to the lesson. These cards are in colour, but print equally well in grey scale for cost savings. To make them self marking, simply place a dot on the underside of the card pertaining to the correct answer.

This engaging and visually appealing activity helps students develop a strong understanding of place value concepts. By counting the 100's, 10's, and 1's frames on the skeleton task cards, students can easily identify the value of each digit and write the corresponding number in the correct place on the worksheet.

✤ To Print Task Cards: The Task Cards, as downloaded, are 1/2 page which are great for students that need a larger size. To print 4x6 index card sized task cards, select "2 pages per sheet". To print 3x5 index card sized task cards, select "4 pages per sheet". These are not designed to print directly to index card template paper. What has worked best for my students was to print to on heavy duty card stock and laminate.

Have your students practice telling time to the half hour with these self checking cards. This product includes all half hour times on clock faces. Students will look at the clock faces, determine the time, then open the card to see if they read the time correctly.

There are several ways to use these cards:

• Use them as an independent math center.
• Use them as an early finisher activity.
• Use them as flash cards for students to practice telling time.

These are colourful, fun and engaging visual supported task cards designed to support students to work on the skill of determining different objects. The cards come in different level of difficulties from easy to hard and include a variety of subtle and distinguished nuances.
