Free 2nd Grade Reading Projects

Make your own book template! Kids love writing their own stories. This is an easy to print document that students can put together themselves to make their own book. Working on vocabulary or spelling words? Have students copy them at the beginning of the book and then use them throughout the story. Have students share their own stories with others in the class to encourage reading skills. All you need to do is print out a copy for each student, and let their own imagination soar.

This is a newsletter about Louis Armstrong as an African American Artist. Students can use this as a jumping off point for a research project or for Black History Month.
