Learn to label the parts of a butterfly, a chick, a cherry blossom branch, the symbols of St. Patrick's Day and Easter, and more! These no-prep, label the picture printables are great for practicing scissor skills or handwriting in labeling centers, writing centers, to complement science, social studies or holiday units or for ESL students.

Each spring-themed printable comes in two versions for differentiated learning: one version is a cut and paste, the other is a fill-in-the-blank version with a word bank for more advanced students. Cut and paste versions work well for preschool and kindergartners working on scissor skills, while the word bank version gives older kinders, first and second graders practice at writing and identifying the parts of the life cycles. Springtime Adaptive Book about planting a flower garden with additional follow up activities.

Students will interact with book while you read & follow up for days with additional activities that enhance understanding and fine motor skills. Student will determine the lifecycle of a flower with a bulb, sequence the story,

• Book interactive book (prior prep is required, however you can use the book again and again! (two complete sets are included. One book has 8 icons / 8 pages. The other book has 8 icons however only 6 pages)

Spring short vowel mini set - Included is one of each of the activities featuring short a.

Students will write and wipe or use manipulative letters. Students will build letters using flower petals, tap out sounds with Mr. Frog, and slowly talk with Mr. Turtle. Turtle and Frog are ready to be printed and attached to popsicle sticks for hopping / walking along each word. Use them again and again in your small groups or centers.

Turtle Talk

Materials - Picture cards, turtle

Directions - 

We will be talking very slowly like a turtle!  We call this turtle talk.  Look at the picture.  What is it?  Say the word slowly.  Tap out every sound you hear.  Write the letters on the card.  Use your turtle to walk and turtle talk the word you made!   

Flower Building

Use the letters on each flower to build words. Each set has 3 pages to provide appropriate support for your students. You will have one blank page, one with the medial sound written, and one with word families.

Using this printable:

These hands-on and engaging Spring Color Clip Cards are designed for young children who are learning to recognize their colors and are able to differentiate between them.

How do you use these clip cards?

Children will use wooden clothespin and clip the sides that match the colors of the object in the center of the wheel. the number of sides will vary depending on the object, it can between 2 to 4 sides. The items included are spring themed objects such as flower, rabbit, wheelbarrow, watering can etc.

How many wheels are included in the printable?

There are a total of 30 Wheels included. You can decide how many wheels can be used, it can just a few or all can be used at once depending on the learner.

The printable is offered in two options.

- Two wheels per page

This printable can be used to strengthen fine motor skills, explore during morning work or used as supplemental literacy/math centers.
