Valentine's Day Graph Bundle: Bar Graph, Line Plot, Pictograph: Measurement

This is the perfect graphing bundle for Valentine's Day or February. Each graph has 2 different activities.
Bar Graph: Students will interpret data on a graph about cupcakes. The second bar graph, students will roll a dice and color in the different hearts on the page. Then they will graph the colors of the hearts and answer questions about their graph.
Line Plots: Students will interpret data and answer questions about the different distance bunnies hop. The second line plot, students will measure cupid's arrows to the nearest quarter inch and then graph their findings on the line plot.
Pictograph: Students will interpret data on a pictograph about cookies. The second pictograph, students will survey their classmates to see what their favorite Valentine candy is. Then they will have to answer questions about their pictograph.
6 different graphs with some differentiation on the create your own graphs. There are some graphs with some labels and others that have no labels and the students will have to create their graph from scratch.

Do your students need a Question of The Day for February? Using a Question of The Day can lead to tremendous growth academically and socially. The Question of The Day Fun can be utilized during your Morning Meeting time along with your greeting and other activities.
There are Valentine’s Day questions, Black History Month questions, and kindness questions. All of the questions are on a Google Slide and can be used every morning during your Morning Meeting routine. All you have to do is bring up the Google Slide each morning and have the slide ready to go for that day. There are 20 EDITABLE and DIVERSE slides just for the month of February!
Students will create connections and develop deep discussions with the questions. Therefore, the skills they are learning during Morning Meeting will lead to connections within their reading texts. Students who practice those skills outside of reading will most likely utilize those same skills while reading.
Additionally, the February Question of The Day will create deep relationships between you and your students! If you have the other Morning Meeting Slides than you understand how powerful these questions can be!
This is also an excellent resource to use with your remote learners as well. You could assign one or more slides to their learning management system for morning meetings and writing or reading activities.

Valentine's Day Heart Health Nonfiction Text and STEM Activities

This resource is a non-fiction science text about heart health. There are a variety of activities that are perfect for Valentine's Day week.
The text is an independent read for upper elementary grades but would make a great read-aloud for the kindergarten and first grade. There is a YouTube video suggested. It is paired with a science activity and an experiment. There are follow-up graphic organizers on several different levels for independent work after the reading. There are directions and recording sheets for the experiment and activities.
The STEAM activity challenges the students to make a heart-shaped tower with given materials.

Make your ESL classroom look different from a regular education room during valentines by considering these 42 multilingual animals' labels!
Each label takes up 1/4 of a page so they are nice and big, but not too obtrusive. There are 42 valentine's vocabulary words for a total of 11 page. You can check out the preview. They each feature the English word in big, bold black letters while the other languages are in a smaller font and in different colors. Languages included are Chinese (simplified/Red), Arabic (Violet), Russian (Green), and Spanish (Brown). To help aid meaning, I've included pictures.
