BACK TO SCHOOL PHONICS GAMES - BOSSY R GAMES is a set of 6 board games with a September Back to School theme. You'll have games for these skills: /ar/, /ir/, /er/, /or/, /ur/ and mixed. 6 games in color and 6 in B&W. Print & Go, just add a die.

These gameboards are "closed" gameboards. You can make these work in your favor by setting up the guidelines ahead of time. Students can continue to play round and round the board until the time is up. Put a small pile of tokens such as cubes in the center and they can collect one for each lap they make if you want a way to keep score. Or, you can state that the games are over after a player has made 5 rounds, or however you choose.

Thanksgiving Task Cards | Letter Match Activity | Fall -Themed:

These task cards are a great fall learning activity. There are both thanksgiving-themed letter cards as well as number cards.

Each letter task card has an Uppercase letter on the turkey as well as #3 different lowercase letters on the right side of the card to choose from. Your students will then clip a clothespin on the correct lowercase letter that matches the letter on the turkey. This is a great fine motor activity as well as a great way to practice matching Uppercase and lowercase letters together.

Number Count & Match Activity | Thanksgiving-Themed:

The thanksgiving-themed number cards have a different amount of thanksgiving items from 1-10 on each one. The students will count how many items are on each task card and then attach a clothespin to the matching number on the right.

I would print and laminate these task cards for better durability.

This autumn-themed activity is a great way to help students reflect on their fall break or Thanksgiving break. Use this digital resource as an icebreaker the morning students return from fall break, morning meeting game, or brain break in your kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, and fourth grade classes. These easy and fun no-prep French activities provide a lot of exposure to verbs, conjugations, themed vocabulary, numbers, telling time, and more. These one-page dots & boxes games include directions at the top of each page. The games can be laminated and used repeatedly with dry-erase markers.

How to play (written at the top of each page): Complete more boxes than your opponent. Each player draws lines using a different color. On your turn, make a horizontal or vertical line from one dot to another. Say the words on either side of the line you drew. If you complete a box on your turn, draw an X in the box using your color. Once all of the boxes have been completed, count to see who got the most.
