DIRECTIONS FOR USE

WORKSHEETS

No-Prep, just print and go. You can use just the cut and paste pages or also pass out the additional sentence writing page that matches. The second page can also be used for early finishers. The ABC cut and paste worksheet has the alphabet listed as a reference. The sentences page has an editing checklist on it.

LITERACY CENTER

Cut apart the 26 picture/word cards and place in center. Print one or both recording sheets and place in center. Students choose 6 picture/word cards, copy those 6 words onto their cut and paste sheet, then complete their worksheet. If you place the second worksheet at the station, then students will choose 4 of their words to practice writing sentences with.

BACK TO SCHOOL PHONICS GAMES - VOWEL TEAMS - VOWEL PAIRS is a set of 6 board games with a September Back to School theme. You'll have games for these skills: ai, ay, ea, ee, oa, oe, ui, ue, ey, e, mixed. 6 games in color and 6 in B&W. Print & Go, just add a die.

These gameboards are "closed" gameboards. You can make these work in your favor by setting up the guidelines ahead of time. Students can continue to play round and round the board until the time is up. Put a small pile of tokens such as cubes in the center and they can collect one for each lap they make if you want a way to keep score. This set has 24 colorful KIDS AT RECESS THEMED measurement cards (on 14 pages). Each card is labeled "A, B, C, etc.." and a recording page is given to match. The 24 cards are provided in 2 sets of 12 with each set having a different color border for recording sake. Students circle which set they are using on the recording sheet. The recording page allows for the student to fill in the unit of measure they are working with, unifix cubes, cm. cubes, beans, paperclips, inches, centimeters, etc... so it is very open ended to suit the needs of your curriculum and students abilities. You can print the recording sheet double sided (early finishers) and ask them to measure using 2 different units of measure.
