Science of Reading Assessment Tool Tracking Sheet

I created a French SOR Assessment tool to cover all the sounds for students K to 3 in the French Immersion setting (Grade 4-6 Core French) for easy assessment and evaluation. Once I got started on my own testing, I realized I could use a quick look tracking sheet.

I learned how to make the boxes editable and hope it works out for you. (I did ask a few colleagues to try it out first). I am offering it FREE for now.

This template is designed using the CUBES math strategy to ensure students are close reading multi-step or multiplication math word problems. Each step in modeled after the CUBES strategy. Knowing what signs indicate sensory needs is imperative for adults working with students with autism or sensory processing disorders. This poster gives indicators of ONE type of sensory need 'vestibular'. It also pairs signs that a student may be over or underresponsive to vestibular sensory and activities to help the student self-regulate under either circumstance. Students struggle with learning contractions in English grammar because there is so much to remember: What are contraction words? Where does the apostrophe go? What is an apostrophe? What words come together to make contractions? What is the rule for using contractions?
