Dreamcatchers Art Project | Native American Art Projects
By Down in the Art Room
These mixed media Native American Dreamcatcher projects will inspire your students to use different materials to create unique artwork with a cross-curricular lesson that celebrates Native American Heritage Month. This project is designed for 2nd-5th grade students but can be easily adapted for middle school students.
This lesson is highly engaging, multi-disciplinary, and contains 4 different projects. Components of the projects can be mixed & matched to provide a huge variety of projects. Set up stations, let your students choose a project, or let students use these projects to spark their creativity & design their own dreamcatcher.
This is a great project for Native American Heritage Month (November), but can be used in conjunction with a unit on symbols, or anytime of the year.

Native American Art Project | Eagle Cross-Curricular Art

These mixed media Native American Eagle projects will inspire your students’ creativity while celebrating Native American Heritage Month. This project is designed for elementary (2nd-5th grades) but can be easily adapted for middle school. It uses a variety of materials to create spectacular artwork!
This highly engaging lesson is multi-disciplinary and includes 4 projects of varying levels of difficulty providing built-in differentiation. Let students choose a project, assign different projects to different classes or grade levels, or use them to inspire your students’ creativity to create an entirely new project.
This project is perfect for Native American Heritage Month (November) while studying animals or birds, or any time of year.
