13 colorful Valentine's Day themed slides that introduce and help students to use and master figurative language. Includes: Directions with optional activities Alliteration Hyperbole Idioms Imagery Internal Rhyme Metaphor Onomatopoeia Personification Simile Symbolism Valentine's Day Images Writing Activities Each slide includes definition, example(s), and writing practice. Presentation can be used for assessment, flipped classrooms, and all differentiated levels of students. Can also be used for individual reviews of specific terminologies.

Students will be provided with a research project ideas list and a KWL chart in the beginning of the product. Students will then be provided with template cards that ask students to share why they chose the topic, what students want to learn about their topic before they begin researching, important facts they learned about their topic (with different color templates), what students learned about their topic that shocked them, what did students think about their topic before they researched it, and two sources templates are included (one to share 2 sources and another to share 3 sources). Students can color pictures or print out pictures in the given picture templates and can cut out the template cards that were filled in and glue on file folders or on a poster board to share.

Boost your students' vocabulary surrounding Fall and Halloween with this Make-Your-Own Bingo activity suitable for all ages and all levels of French.

This activity is a great way to have your students create their own bingo cards and then to play with them. It comes with many versions depending on your Core French groups.

1. Two versions, one with instructions in English and one with instructions in French, which prompt your students to color, cut and paste to create their bingo card.
2. Two versions, one with instructions in English and one with instructions in French, which prompt your students to create their own illustrations, cut and paste to their bingo card.

Choose the version applicable to your students' level and then they'll cut out their squares and paste them to their bingo card. Take this to the next level by laminating their cards so that they can use a dry-erase marker as a bingo dabber!
