Option 1: Fill-the-House (Ideal for visual learners and those who like a structured approach)
This graphic organizer provides a house outline with designated sections for your favorite room. Here's what your students will explore within each section:

  • The Room: Write the name of their favorite room (e.g., bedroom, playroom, etc.).
  • Sight: Describe what they see. Specific details like furniture, decorations, or the view outside the window.
  • Smell: What unique scents fill the air in this room? Is it the fresh smell of linens, the sweet aroma of books, or a hint of their favorite snacks?
  • Feeling: How does this room make them feel? Cozy, calm, energetic, or creative?

Option 2: Cutting, Folding & Designing (Ideal for kinesthetic learners and those who enjoy a hands-on approach)

  • Cut and Fold: Cut out and fold along the lines.
  • Design Time: Decorate the outside of their folded room to represent its visual elements (furniture, decorations, etc.)
