Number Formation Rhyme Posters - 1-10 Pastel and Rainbow Class Decor
By Keeper of Kinders
What is the best way to teach number formation? Put it to a rhyme of course!
Help your young learners remember how to write numbers 1-10 with these fun rhymes. Not only does it help them remember during handwriting time, but it also helps them make a visual connection when recognizing numbers.
If you have students struggling with number recognition, practice the rhymes in a variety of ways: sand, whiteboard/marker, bumpy boards, air write, etc. so they get a full multi-sensory experience to solidify number recognition.
Added bonus of a pastel or rainbow one page reference sheet for teachers to laminate and keep at small group table, front board or anywhere you practice numbers!
I have included both a pastel and rainbow color set to mach any classroom decor!

Christmas Play Script - Holly the Christmas Elf
By Creative Primary Literacy
A funny Christmas play that revolves around Holly the Elf. After being accidentally taken to the North Pole one Christmas Eve, she stayed until adulthood and grew up thinking she was an elf herself. One day she found out she was a human, and decided to go and visit her biological father.
On arrival she wasn’t welcomed by her father but soon the family grew to like Holly, and she also found a boyfriend. But then everything changed when she fell out with her father and she decided to leave.
However, as she was walking alone, she heard a crash; when she went to investigate, she noticed it was her good friend, Santa. Her family catch up with her and together they all manage to lift Christmas spirit and power Santa’s sleigh.

11 great orchestral tracks to warmup your Chorus! These original choral warmups range from G below middle C to High Bb above the staff and reinforce vowel sounds, diction, and extension of range. Lightning Violin 2013 (Part 2)
By Jason Litt
Here's the follow-up to the 2012 Lightning Violin! (link below) http://www.TeachShare.com/Product/Lightning-Violin-Learn-How-to-Play-Violin-478845 This is a curriculum I use in grades 3, 4, and 5. We have a full set of violins at our school and we learn notation, rhythms, and notes through an original curriculum called "Lightning Violin". The students all learn the songs together and then an individual student plays the song by themselves for assessment. If they play it correctly, I give them a "bolt" on their chart (which I save in powerpoint). It gets very competitive and the students really respond well and practice as hard as they can to get their next bolt. This particular version focuses on learning the rhythms and notes without the aid of fingering charts or letters, which makes it a bit more challenging for students who have relied on that in the past. There are a few review slides before the songs that ensures students have everything they need to complete the program! It goes a little slower, but it's scaffolding made easy (White Belt is the easiest, Rainbow Belt the most challenging) Included with this are 9 mp3 files accompaniments (with a cool hip hop piano background!) along with the powerpoint in PDF format. Kids LOVE it! Let me know if you have any questions and I'll be happy to answer them!
By Jason Litt
Get your class on beat! Included are 6 background tracks with ethnic flair -- tablas, djembes, bongos, and more ethnic percussion from Asia, India, and South America. The 6 tracks are at approximately 120bpm and also have a faster 142bpm just in case you want to get things really moving! (12 tracks total) I use these in my class for Orff, Boomwhacker, Rhythm Sticks, Dancing, Movement, or singing activities. The tracks go for about 2 minutes each and there's about 18 minutes worth of drum music in the ZIP file Have fun!

Jumbie Jam Mania! (Steel Drum Compositions)
By Jason Litt
*** Accompaniment files INCLUDED! *** Have a steel drum/jumbie jam ensemble or just starting one? Give a look at these original compositions for steel drums in "Steel Drum Mania!" Included are 5 original songs all around 1.5-2 minutes long. The Steel drums are all unison (works great if you have 1 octave Jumbie Jams, which they were originally written for!) Each song has sheet music which can be taught by rote along with accompaniment mp3s of various tempi. 2 of the songs are beginner, 1 is intermediate, and the last one, quite advanced. All songs are written to reflect landmarks in Winter Springs, Florida, a suburb of Orlando. These can also be used for any C instrument, so if you dare venture onto an Orff instrument or Recorder, it'll work as well ;) Have a great time!
By Jason Litt
Included are some pretty hefty Orff arrangements for your advanced groups! On the powerpoint, all arrangements are color coded and marked with letters for easy rote teaching. The first arrangement is a piece called "The Zoo" which is 8 measures long and is intended to be repeated. The bass has a bordoun in the beginning and splits into a bass line in the second part. The alto provides chords and the soprano the melody The second arrangement, Untitled, has a lovely assortment of indepenent parts and a haunting E minor intro section. The next section gets more rhythmic in the sopranos as the alto takes over the melody along with the bass Enjoy these advanced arrangements!
