The fill in the blank sentences and sight word practice graffiti wall are sure to keep your student's engaged!

Here's what's included in this resource:

1. Practice Pages:

  • Each sight word comes with two practice pages. The first page is all about creativity! Encourage your students to write the sight word in a graffiti style on the brick wall provided. This hands-on activity not only reinforces writing skills but also adds an element of fun. Then they can solve the word search to reinforce recognition.
  • The second page is a fill-in-the-blanks page. Students get to practice the sight word in context, enhancing both writing and reading fluency. The sentences provided offer a practical application of the word, ensuring a holistic learning experience.

2. Flash Cards:

  • Flash cards are a versatile tool for sight word mastery. With two flash cards per word, you can use them in various ways. Play a memory matching game with the class to make learning interactive and enjoyable.

Tips for Maximum Impact:

  1. Interactive Learning: Encourage students to actively engage with the graffiti-style writing and word search. This hands-on approach makes sight word practice enjoyable.
  2. Repetition is Key: Utilize the flash cards regularly. Repetition helps reinforce memory, and the memory matching game adds an element of excitement.
  3. Sentence Building: Emphasize the importance of understanding sight words in sentences. The fill-in-the-blanks exercise provides context, aiding comprehension.
  4. Friendly Competition: Turn sight word learning into a friendly competition. Students can challenge each other to remember words during memory matching games, making learning a social activity.
