This product is a differentiated math mystery that is aligned with the 4th-grade Engage NY/Eureka math curriculum and focuses on prime/composite numbers, factors, multiples, long division and multi digit multiplication. It includes a scenario explaining what the problem is- Mrs. Claus is missing. The product has a suspect list of 10 people (students should recognize many of the characters from movies and books!), and 5 clues that narrow down the suspect list to just one person. Each clue has a worksheet A & B and an answer key for all worksheets. Worksheet A for each clue aligns with the standards but at a lower level for students who struggle with this skill. Worksheet B is a more challenging version for higher-level students to offer enrichment. Worksheets A & B look the same; they have the same appearance clues and the letters are in the same spot on the equations. This allows students to work on the same assignment but at their instructional level to allow for more confidence and success. Or, mix and match between the worksheets to use which one best suits the needs of your class to use as whole group instruction. Review math skills in a fun and engaging way this holiday season!

If you’re looking for a fun review to have your students practice their multiplication skills without beginning a new topic or just a fun review then look no further! This resource focuses on a review of multi-digit multiplication. It includes a page of 2-digit by 1-digit multiplication, 3-digit by 1-digit, 4-digit by 1-digit, 2-digit by 2-digit, and lastly, a page focusing on a review of all of these skills. It begins by explaining the mystery which is that someone stole Santa’s sleigh. It includes a suspect list, five clues, and an answer key in this quest to find the culprit. Each clue narrows down the suspect list until only one character is left; that person is the thief! Characters will recognize these fun characters from movies, books, etc.

This product is a mystery picture using a coordinate plane grid that when completed, creates a candy cane. This product includes the coordinates for the students that will guide them in making the mystery picture, an answer key that illustrates which coordinate groups create which feature of the candy cane, and an example of what the completed product should look like when finished. This product does NOT include coordinate grid paper. That can be found for free on sites such as https://madisonpaper.com/coordinate-graph-paper/. The grid paper needs to be larger, roughly from -12 to 12 on the X axis, and 15 to -16 on the Y axis.

This product has six 3-digit long division equations both with and without a remainder. When answered correctly, the equation will tell students which color a specific number is supposed to be. The equation number correlates to the number on the color-by-number sheet. Review in a fun and engaging way this holiday season!

This product is a math mystery that is aligned with the 5th-grade Engage NY/Eureka math curriculum. This focuses on reviewing important skills learned at the beginning of the school year which include long division, metric conversions, 4x2 and 3x2 multiplication, addition/subtraction of decimals to the thousandth place, and multiplication/division of base 10 exponents. This product provides the students with a brief scenario introducing the fact that someone has stolen Santa's sleigh, a suspect list, five clues which will each narrow the suspect list down until only one is left and an answer key.

This product includes 5 different pages of 2-digit division equations both with and without remainders that each feature their own Christmas themed joke for students to solve. The correct answers will tell students what letter equates what quotient. Afterward, students plug in the letters to the clue to find the answer to the joke.
