5th Grade Close Reading Google Apps (by price, low to high)

A Google Forms reading comprehension bundle with forty individual activities about key events in September, October, November and December, or famous figures that were either born or died in the fall. The activities, which come in PDF format too, have an informational text with comprehension and grammar questions followed by an extension task, are about the following people or topics:

• Walt Disney, who founded the Walt Disney Company on the 16th October 1923
• The Great Depression, which began with the stock market crash on 'Black Thursday' on the 24th October 1929
• The famous artist, Pablo Picasso, who was born on the 25th October 1881
• The Microsoft founder and multi-billionaire, Bill Gates, who was born on the 28th October 1955
• The Italian dictator, Benito Mussolini, who came to power on the 29th October 1922
• Muhammed Ali, who defeated George Foreman in the Rumble in the Jungle on the 30th October 1974
• The World War 2 key events of Dunkirk & the Battle of Britain, which ended on the 31st October 1940
• Abraham Lincoln, who was elected as president on the 6th November 1860.

• The settlement of the Pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving, which took place on the 25th November 1621.
• Egyptian pharaoh**, Tutankhamun**, whose tomb was discovered by Howard Carter on the 26th November 1922.
• The British war time prime minister, Winston Churchill, who was born on the 30th November 1874.
• Rosa Parks, who was arrested on the 1st December 1955 for refusing to give up her seat on a segregated bus; the event gave birth to the U.S. Civil Rights Movement.

A Google Forms reading comprehension bundle with eight individual activities about key events or key figures from the Middle Ages.

Character Analysis Graphic Organizer, Character Analysis Worksheet

This product includes only ONE Character Analysis Graphic Organizer both print and digital. It allows students to deeply analyze one character from any book or story. They are asked a series of questions about the character including main character traits (and supporting it with evidence), a problem or challenge the character is facing, something interesting the character said, a memorable moment, change or growth the character experiences (from beginning, middle, and end) - ALL IN ONE GRAPHIC ORGANIZER!

Finally, students are asked to illustrate the character in a section of the graphic organizer based on the information they wrote about the character!
