Occupational Therapy Program - Writing and Forming letters

This two page program has been developed to support children/students who find it difficult to write fast and form letters due to difficulties with shoulder stability and finger strength. Generally these difficulties affect pencil control, poor hand eye coordination (visual motor integration) which ultimately affects letter formation.
This program explores hand preparation exercises, exercises and activities to develop muscle strength in shoulders and fingers and activities to develop letter formation and identification.
This is a great handout program for parents/teachers and/or other allied health staff.
