Idioms are so fun to learn! Don't take them too literally! There are so many idioms that I have made a classroom set of idiom pages. Each student gets their own idiom. They then get to draw a literal meaning of the picture for everyone to giggle at. Then at the bottom of the page they write what the idiom really means. You can display these after on your bulletin board or around your room. Let your students show what they know about idioms in a creative way, then hang them up for others to learn from your class. Are you in need of cute and functional nameplates/nametags for your students? Look no further! This resource is perfect for you! These nametags measure approximately 4.27 inches high and 10.91 inches width wise (numbers will vary based on how you cut them out). These are a bit bigger so they won't fit in the holders from target but they are easy to laminate. Once you edit - print on your preferred paper (cardstock is my preference - I like Astrobrights), laminate and cut! Easy to cut - just cut across in the middle!

Students will be able to use these right away to help with their multiplication facts, place value and gives them an idea of what the cursive letters look like! There are 3 options! For the primary kiddos - numbers 1 -30 on the top and the primary alphabet on the bottom! I am using them in my fourth grade class and the students are already raving about how helpful they are - no more straining to see the posters!

I attach mine with velcro so that students can easily take them with them if they work in a different area of the room.

You will need a font KA Jackfruit for it to look just like mine. I included the link to purchase the font in the file. Zip files open to an editable powerpoint!

Welcome your students to the new school year with a super fun Doodle Station Activity! This product is better than your traditional All About Me posters, as it will have students walking around the classroom coloring their answers into a Zen Doodle design.

This activity can be used for any age or grade!

Students will color their answers to share all about themselves: their families, pets & talents, and their favorite foods, school subjects, and activities. Get students having fun and getting comfortable with their surroundings and peers from the very first day!

Directions:

1. Print the six Station Pages in color. Laminate for reuse!
2. Print the All About Me page in black & white for EACH student participating.
3. Display the six Station Pages wherever you want in the classroom (different tables, walls, etc)
4. Hand out the All About Me worksheet to each student.
5. Instruct students to visit each station in whatever order they want. Match the station number with the number on their black & white coloring sheet. Tell students to read the choices on the Station Pages. Color the doodles on the All About Me coloring page using the colors associated with the answers.
6. EXAMPLE: On the Tell Us About Your Family Members Station Page, students may color the doodles green, purple, and blue if those statements are true.

Simply cut out and laminate and give to your student to use as an ongoing reference guide.
