Plotting Points on the Coordinate Plane | Pixel Art Activity

Let your 5th and 6th-grade students practice while having fun with this Valentine's Day themed, engaging, no-prep, and self-checking plotting points on the coordinate plane mystery picture activity.
This pixel art activity will be a great way to review your lesson.
Students will plot (drag and drop) 20 points, ordered pairs (all four quadrants).
As they correctly plot each point, a mystery picture will be revealed.
Perfect for:
- practicing,
- homework,
- reviewing material,
- an emergency substitute lesson plan!
Since this activity is online (interactive pages) there is very little prep; just provide the link, and off they go! There are no locks to configure or clues to hide—everything you need is online. No Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams logins are necessary.

Valentine's Day Multiplying Dividing Fractions Pixel Art |Digital Resource

Let your students practice while having fun with this engaging, no-prep and self-checking multiplying and dividing fractions mystery picture activity. Students will solve 20 operations using Google Sheets. I used it as a sub-plan in sixth grade and the kids loved it. As they correctly answer the questions a mystery picture will be revealed.

You must have a Google™ account. A copy of the Google™ Sheet will be saved to your Google™ Drive. So, make sure you are signed into your Google™ account.
If you want to assign the Sheet to your Google™ Classroom:
1. Create an assignment.
2. Click “Add” and choose “Google Drive” option.
3. Search for the Google Sheet in your Google Drive.
4. Choose the option to “Make a copy for each student”. Students will get their own copy of the file with their name added to the document title.
5. Click to assign the activity to all students.

Valentine's Day themed Digital Breakout Room (NO PREP!)

Students will enjoy this digital breakout website that has them solve four logic puzzles to find all the necessary keys to unlock the safe and get Cupid's arrows back. Students will use the Google Form that's embedded in the website to fill in their guesses for the passwords. They will get an immediate response on whether their guess was correct, (which will allow them to go to the next rooms submission), or tell them to try again.
