Welcome to our special lesson plan in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month! Join us as we delve into the vibrant world of Asian culture through an exciting art project. Thangkas are traditional Tibetan Buddhist paintings depicting deities, scenes, or mandalas on cotton or silk appliqué. In our lesson, we will dive deep into the history and symbolism of Thangka art, highlighting its importance in Asian culture.
