Challenging your students doesn't mean it can't be fun, creative, and group collaboration. This is a Geography Asia research or wrap-up assignment that can be used throughout the study of Asia (or modified to fit another topic) in geography, world history, and other social studies classes. I have used this in my class for 7 years and it has been a very successful learning tool. This can easily be modified the assignment to fit various topics. Students and parents love this assignment because it is fun and reflects what students have learned. Students are proud of their work when they finish. The idea of the lesson can be changed to fit studies within other core subjects, such as science. This is a supplemental activity that will enhance students learning within the unit study. The teacher-ready supplemental activities included in this lesson are focused on an Asia Unit.

What a fun way to study people throughout history. My students LOVE playing this game. They couldn't wait to play it. It encourages students to use their critical thinking skills while enjoying the learning process. This is very versatile and can be used over and over.

This is a great way to get your students involved in their own learning, giving them autonomy, and it is an activity that can be used across the curriculum.
