The purpose of this exercise is to give students THREE exciting ways to learn how to correctly write down the coordinates of a point on the coordinate plane. Students get the following three opportunities to practice coordinates:
1. They have to write down coordinates correctly.
2. They have to plot coordinates of a friend correctly.
3. They have to check if their friend wrote down the coordinates of all points correctly.

This Exponents and Roots task (with complete Key) gives students practice to become fluent using their calculator. The task concisely reviews the steps contained in the Exponents and Roots Tutorial.
