All you need is enough copies of the game board and two different colored writing utensils per pair. You call out terms from the Call List included with the game board and each person scrambles to find and mark it before their partner. At the end of the game, the player with the most terms marked wins! The Call List includes all terms from the game board in the opposite language (if it's in Spanish on the board, then the English term is on the list). This activity is intended for use as a paired game, but it can also be used as a large-group game (by projecting the chosen game page onto your whiteboard). Are you looking for an easy and fun way to review Earth Day vocabulary with your Spanish students? Then look no further! This low-prep set of three matamoscas (flyswatter) games is a great way to practice or review Earth Day-related vocabulary with your elementary or secondary class.

This activity is intended for use as a paired game, but it can also be used as a large-group game (by projecting the chosen game page onto your whiteboard). If you're not familiar with how the game is played, it's simple: all you need to play is enough copies of the game board and two different colored writing utensils per pair of students. You call out terms from the call list included with the game boards and each person scrambles to find and mark it before their partner. At the end of the game, the player with the most terms marked wins!

They get cheese every day!!  I'll be adding more menus weekly as I receive them.  There are so many things a French teacher can do with these in class. I have made five extremely versatile no prep printable worksheets available to use along with any and all of these French school lunch menus. Versions 1 - 4 have ten questions each while version 5 has six questions. The questions on these worksheets will have your students learning a lot about cultural differences concerning menu items as well as the amount of time French students get for lunch, why there's no menu for Wednesday, etc.

Your students will find it interesting to see that French kids are offered une entrée, un plat principal, une garniture, un produit laitier, et un dessert every day.
