How can you use these task cards?

⭐Have the task cards available in makerspaces, centers, tubs, busy boxes, morning baskets, as a reward, or available for early finishers to complete using ANY available materials. Students can even draw their creations instead of building them!

⭐Use one card or slide a day during morning time. Have students fill out a STEAM / STEM worksheet or slide, and discuss as a class.

⭐Use them for public speaking practice. Allow students to build and then show and tell with the class or their parents. They can discuss what they made, liked, what they would improve, and how it solved the problem on the task cards. They can practice speaking and listening skills, using loud and clear voices, and giving full attention to the speaker. Encourage students to ask questions to their classmates.

⭐Ideally the goal is to do one challenge a day, but you could certainly allow students to do more than one!

All editable templates are in PowerPoint form. You will download files in flattened and secured PowerPoint file format. You can change the font to whatever you prefer or already use in your class - I know I have favorites! The Farmyard Decor items are designed to fit on 8.5" x 11" paper and can be reduced or enlarged at the time of printing if needed or can be printed 2 or 4 per page using your printer's settings.
