Geometry - Identifying Vertices, Faces, and Edges of 3 Dimensional Shapes
By Sassycat Corner
Working on Geometry skills? Are your students struggling to identify the vertices, edges, and faces of 3D shapes? This DOUBLE set of 32 task cards (64 task cards in all) will give our students some much practice with this geometry related skill set! You get 32 multiple choice cards and 32 short answer cards. There is something here for everyone! Also included are 4 bonus practice sheets, a blank answer page, and answer keys. Use these task cards for a variety of activities - whole group games such as Scoot or Jeopardy; small group work, independent seat work, workstations or centers, or for test review. Mine love to do "math around the room". I tape the cards up around the room and allow them time to "find" the cards and solve them as they move around. Looking for more activities to use in your geometry unit? Check out some of these! https://www.TeachShare.com/Store/Sassycat-Corner/Category/Math-Geometry-245386

Rectangle Area and Perimeter Thinking Problems
By MsVisualizer
Challenging Problems designed for group work on area and perimeter. Fixed area and fixed perimeter problems to push student thinking. Ideal for students who area already familiar with area and perimeter. I gave these to my 6th graders to refresh their memories from previous grades and still challenge them.
It can also be used to help students understand why when one of the side lengths is less than one, the area will be less than smaller than the other side length.
