This pack contains a set of 24 questions differentiated four ways (96 cards) on the subject of Geometry. They are designed completely from scratch with simplicity, professionalism and concentration in mind.

This Task Card Set is available in a money saving bundle offer. Click here for more information

The questions are formulated to provide a mix of real life situations and pure geometry problems from a wide range of geometry subjects, such as pythagoras, symmetry, circles and more. The cards introduce the idea that Geometry has a function in the real world. These questions provide a strong base for the continued learning of Basic Geometry and a good grounding for further and more complex study.

Each question is differentiated in 4 ways across 4 cards. The easiest are the Red Questions and then the Yellow. The Green cards offer a little more challenge by asking additional questions, and finally the Challenge cards are designed to push the most able.

Math Task Cards - Length of the School Year (Beginning or End)

By Amanda G

This package has been set up so that you may complete these task cards at the beginning of the year, as a diagnostic during the first weeks of the school year, and again at the end of the year. The blue task cards are worded in the past tense for the end of the year, while the yellow task cards or written for the beginning of the year. I have included a math reflections page so that students may reflect on their learning at the end of the year. I have also included a blank template for each color so that you may add more cards, if you wish.

These cards cover: time (hours, minutes and seconds), measurement (imperial and metric, marked with a Canadian flag), averaging/mean and multiplication.

Product includes general calendars for 2019-2021, to allow for differentiation and assistance to those that need copy of the calendar to complete the task cards.
