Are you and your students dreaming of summer break? Why not engage them in this project-based learning activity and watch them light up with excitement about the possibilities of travel? Students are given a $5,000 budget and are tasked with planning their dream summer vacation. This resource has imperative soft skills embedded such as research, creating well-organized presentations, and budgeting.

Students are tasked with:

• Research: choosing a city and country and completing a country research section. Country research includes population, flag, food, music, famous native, safety, and more!
• Planning: choosing flights, lodging, and transportation
• Writing: blog entries and postcards home
• Organizing: creating an itinerary of activities within the given budget

In this summer's sports competitions, there will be four new sports added. One is a sport important to Japanese culture; karate. The other three are in hopes of drawing a younger viewing crowd: skateboarding, rock climbing, and surfing. The high-interest non-fiction texts are perfect for the end of the year, summer school, and summer camp! There are video links too! You can share this resource with your students through Google Classroom™ or Google Drive™. Students can then type directly on this document and share it back with you.

The final Set will be update latest by 22 March If you download this product prior to March 22 , you will only see my TOU document and those clipart sets that have been added. To download updates, go to your "Purchases" tab on TeachShare and you will find that this product has a "Revised Version" notification. That means a new set of clipart is ready!

Simply download the product from there and magically you will see the new additions to the bundle! You will always have access to all the sets after they have been added to the download.

All images come in png formats with transparent backgrounds so you can easily layer them into your projects.
