“I Spy” proofreading and editing is a fun resource where students will be able to convey their knowledge of editing punctuation, spelling, and grammar. Using a short summary of singers like Shawn Mendes, Arianna Grande, and Katy Perry, students will have practice correcting these interesting passages while learning about their favorite singers.

This free product includes a worksheet for Proofreading Rules, especially pertaining to these lessons. An additional handout will be offered that explains when to use italics, and when to use quotation marks. In reading passages about famous singers, you will see the use of album titles and individual songs used quite often.

In this product, students will identify sentence and sentence fragments, write the correct end punctuation for each sentence, label each sentence declarative, imperative, interrogative, or exclamatory, identify each simple subjects and simple predicate.

As time moves on, many great Americans who have shaped the arts, sciences, sports, and history of our nation and culture get lost in time. The Great Americans Series of Biographies and Worksheets is an easy-to-read 200-word biography of just the highlights of each subject's life designed to keep young readers engaged. The questions worksheet ensures student reading comprehension and grasp of key points. Seventh graders can concentrate better on enhancing the skills they started to cultivate in 6th grade without the extra pressure of adapting to the new middle school setting. By 7th grade, it is anticipated that students have adjusted to middle school life and are thus expected to operate more autonomously while managing their time and schedules with diminished (but still some) support.

Typically, in 7th grade, students expand upon the abilities they acquired in 6th grade by engaging with more intricate and lengthy texts and essays in both writing and reading. This effort will equip them for 8th grade, where they will solidify and enhance their skills, ultimately positioning them for success in high school.

In 7th grade, learners enhance their skills in analyzing the texts they read and supporting their analysis with evidence from the text. In particular, 7th grade students focus on scrutinizing texts more thoroughly and utilizing details from the text to formulate ideas, conduct analysis, and draw inferences.

While The Great Gatsby provides an in-depth portrayal of American culture during the Roaring Twenties, its storyline mirrors one told many times before, potentially as old as the country itself: a man rises from destitution to wealth, only to find that his fortune does not afford him the privileges enjoyed by those born into their elite status.

The central character is Jay Gatsby, a wealthy New Yorker whose occupation is vague. Gatsby is primarily known for the lavish parties he throws each weekend at his opulent Gothic mansion in West Egg. He is thought to be linked to illegal bootlegging and several criminal activities. The storyteller, Nick Carraway, resides next to Gatsby in West Egg.

This lesson plan for The Great Gatsby is designed to last approximately 90 minutes. The student activities vary and are presented in a separate worksheet. In the end, the answer key for the assignments is given separately at the end of the lesson plan.

Romeo and Juliet is a play created by Shakespeare. It is a tragic romantic story where the two main characters, Romeo and Juliet, are supposed to be fierce opponents but ultimately fall in love. Due to the ongoing conflict between their families, they cannot be with each other, resulting in their decision to end their lives as they cannot bear the agony of being apart. Romeo and Juliet is a heartbreaking drama written by Shakespeare.
