Math Halloween Activity Finding GCF Mystery Picture | Digital Resource
By Matemaths
Let your fifth graders practice Greatest Common Factor while having fun with this engaging, no-prep, digital Halloween-themed activity. I used it as a sub-plan in sixth grade and the kids liked it.
Each slide contains two numbers (less than 100) and the students need to find GCF. As they correctly answer the questions a mystery picture will be revealed.
You can use it for sub-plans, enrichment/reinforcement, early finishers, extra-practice and spiral review.
For PowerPoint or Google Slides.
It works only in presentation mode.
Suitable for IB MYP Middle years Programme.

Coming from a school with a large ESL population of Spanish Speakers AND spending years in an REP Math Class, one of our biggest obstacles came from the language barrier. This glossary can help to overcome that barrier! 100 English & Spanish Definitions are included in this PowerPoint file. Each word is on it's own slide, so you can print out what's needed for your current unit. Great for a Word Wall or even Center Posters.
I uploaded this as a PowerPoint file so that you could edit colors and/or add more words that you need in your room.
I hope this helps!!
