8th Grade End of Year Assessment

Self-reflection is so important for students of all ages and what better time to reflect on learning than at the end of the school year? With that in mind, I created this end of year reflection assignment that prompts students to consider all of the meaningful experiences they had all year in my class. My students really get into this assignment and I'm sure yours will too! I've included in this product a model of my assignment and a fully editable template for you - it will only take a few minutes to tweak it and make it your own. After they solve the questions they will discover one answer was not used. Whatever is next to that answer is the answer to that part of the mystery.

This Pre Algebra Digital Escape Room Project is completely SELF CHECKING and includes 40 questions to Escape from Mathematical Mansion! Students will complete 4 multiple choice questions in each of the 10 rooms covering major algebra 1 topics including signed numbers, linear equations, inequalities, system of equations, rate of change, exponents, order of operations, distribution and pythagorean theorem! After they solve the questions they will take their letter answer choice in order and write it in the google form.

Before they can move to the next room they must get the code correct! If it is wrong a message will display that says "SORRY! TRY AGAIN!" They. must figure out where the error is to move forward.

Their FINAL CHALLENGE will be to create their own multiple choice question per topic, which a template is provided for.
