8th Grade For All Subjects Handouts (by price, high to low)

This bundle includes cute, colorful back to school gift tags that each come in variety of different sizes. Listed below is every tag this bundle contains, what it is intended to be used with, and what the tag says. Many of these tags can be used with older students or younger students. I am sure your students will love them as much as mine do!

Sweet Treat Tag- can be used with anything sweet (cookies, candy, fruit cup, etc.)

"Get ready for a SWEET year!"

Bright Tag- can be used with sunglasses, a hat, a visor, a glow stick, etc.

"You will shine BRIGHT this school year!"

Stick Together Tags- best if used with stickers but can also attach to temporary tattoos (in the past, I have used these with a "class bracelet" and a sticker to promote unity in my room.

"We will always STICK together! It will be a great year."

Ball Tags- use with a beach ball, a bouncy ball, a foam ball, etc.

"This school year will be a BALL!"

Bubble Tags- can be used with bubbles

"This year will be BUBBLING with gun!"

Pencil Tags- can be used with pencils, notebook, paper, pen, or even a clipboard

"Let's start this year off WRITE!"

Eraser Tags- can be used with decorative erasers, disappearing ink, or even whiteout for older students

"ERASE your fear, it will be a great year!"

NOTE: If you need additional rewards created, please reach out to me through Q&A. I will need at least a week's notice to create additional awards. I will create a separate product listing with your requested custom-made awards. There will be an additional charge: $2 per editable reward.

ALSO NOTE: Those that are in WORD and are editable may not appear as they should be and may need some additional formatting. With the difference in versions, it may not format correctly. I have also included printable jps.

You will need a zip file opener to open the zip file and obtain the documents.

Students need to know they are valued and appreciated. One way to let them know is to present them with certificates, whether you present it publicly, privately, staple it to their assignment being returned to them or, if they have a student folder or journal with pockets, simply place it inside for them to find! Surprise! You are valued!

Each is created with a colorful background but can be reproduced in black and white as well. In addition, each has a inspiring quote such as the following:

These rewards can be used various ways:

• Teacher presented, filled out by the teacher
• Peer presented, filled out by a peer, and presented
• Filled out by a student committee and presented

Students may appreciate the reward; however, you may choose to present them with the opportunity to receive a tangible reward along with the certificate

• A homework pass
• 10 free minutes at the end of class
• 5 extra credit point on their next test
• The choice to work with the partner of their choosing on their next class assignment or project

As the instructor, it is up to you what you feel is appropriate rewards for your students.

This resource contains 3 Social Media Safety Reading Comprehension Passages with Written Response Questions that focus on the topic of social media, digital, or internet safety.

The passages are suitable for students in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades but can also be used by 9th and 10th grade students to teach them about online media safety.

The passages cover the following themes:

• How to Recognize Unsafe Interactions on Social Media: This passage explains the signs of suspicious or harmful messages or requests on social media platforms and how to deal with them.
• Identity Theft on Social Media: This passage describes what identity theft is, how it can happen on social media, and the various ways to prevent it or report it.

I use interactive notebooks in my classroom, this is a flipbook that can be glued or into a composition notebook. The flip book syllabus will also fit in a larger spiral notebook, as well.
