Être, Aller, Avoir, Faire + Descriptive French Adjectives - Correct the mistakes - No prep printables

These are simple, fun, and no-prep one page bell ringer worksheets in which beginner French students identify mistakes that have been made in sentences using the verbs être, aller, avoir, and faire in the present tense with descriptive adjectives.

Students underline the mistakes (the verbs are conjugated incorrectly, and the adjectives do not agree with the nouns they describe). Once they've identified the mistakes, they rewrite the sentences on the line provided. Answer keys are included.

These worksheets could be laminated and used repeatedly with dry-erase markers or completed on an iPad with annotation/whiteboard tools.

French School Lunch Menu Activities Bundle - 5 French and English Versions

Here are five no prep printable activities to use along with my free French school lunch menu series. You get five versatile worksheets that you can use with any of the lunch menus I've provided. Since there are so many menus available, having five different worksheets to use will keep your menu activities from becoming boring. All of the menus are in French only, but each worksheet has a French only and an English only version so that you can use them with any level whether you teach core French or in French immersion.

I recommend printing the menu you want to use on one side of a sheet of paper and the set of questions you want to use on the other. Talk about a time saver and fun cultural addition to your food unit!

Versions 1 - 4 have ten questions each while version 5 has six questions. The questions on these worksheets will have your students learning a lot about cultural differences concerning menu items as well as the amount of time French students get for lunch, why there's no menu for Wednesday, etc.

Your students will find it interesting to see that French kids are offered une entrée, un plat principal, une garniture, un produit laitier, et un dessert every day.

It would be fun to look up images of some of these menu items to show students what they look like and if they eat anything similar at their schools or homes.

Then this fun PowerPoint presentation is a great way to introduce or review clothing and accessory vocabulary with your elementary or secondary class. Each slide is animated so that the picture appears first, followed by the Spanish term. The presentation is completely free of English, but still very comprehensible, thanks to the great clip art. My students really enjoy when we use this as a review with whiteboards. Make sure to check out the preview for a complete list of terms. Please note that the terms in the presentation are NOT editable, although slides may be deleted or rearranged.
