Teams must be able to determine the answer through visual inspection, then back up their answers verbally.\x3Cp>Great as a review activity before an exam, or as a mid-unit formative assessment to track progress towards mastery.\x3Cp>This lesson also includes a quick paper/pencil exit ticket students can do individually so you can assess each students' mastery, with answer key included.\x3Cp>Included in Activity:\x3Cp>- Link to Google Slide Deck for classroom presentation\x3Cp>- Complete directions for how I like to run the activity\x3Cp>- Printable student answer choice cards\x3Cp>- Printable student Exit Ticket\x3Cp>- Complete Exit Ticket solutions\x3Cp>If you enjoy this activity, please check out my Level Up products, or my Team Target Review series, which encourages group work and rich math discussion.\x3Cp>Check out my blog at EZMathBlog or follow me on Twitter, Instagram, or Threads.",public:!0,price:"300",displayPrice:null,grades:$R[565]=["Grade 8","Grade 9","Homeschool"],userId:"4fdb28b3-7a32-4f0b-8815-22e34c70036a",primaryImage:"https://storage.googleapis.com/teachertoolai-editor.appspot.com/imports%2Fimages%2FvNSHml63YJgfgfbF1W1Ud",thumbnailImage:"https://storage.googleapis.com/teachertoolai-editor.appspot.com/imports%2Fimages%2F6otdhBrvWgkuocWTzOf_e",secondaryImages:$R[566]=["https://storage.googleapis.com/teachertoolai-editor.appspot.com/imports%2Fimages%2FQDEJGADaM3Ff5hxCRV2-2","https://storage.googleapis.com/teachertoolai-editor.appspot.com/imports%2Fimages%2FjR5UAzot7vylxT3sTekMR","https://storage.googleapis.com/teachertoolai-editor.appspot.com/imports%2Fimages%2FxVY8KFhgdP1CuAEFkTYz_"],isCollection:!1,createdAt:$R[567]=new Date("2024-11-27T23:27:37.300Z"),updatedAt:$R[568]=new Date("2024-11-27T23:27:37.300Z"),rating:"0",ratingsCount:"0",store:$R[569]={id:"0192f972-7642-7018-bd71-20cbcd5b830e",name:"EZMath",icon:"https://storage.googleapis.com/teachertoolai-editor.appspot.com/imports%2Fimages%2FPuYIeTOEhR09nd9F20_rW",slug:"ezmath"},gradesDisplay:"Grade 8–9, Homeschool",subjects:$R[570]=[$R[571]={id:58,label:"Math"},$R[572]={id:59,label:"Algebra"}],resourceTypes:null,learningStandards:null,reviews:null},$R[573]={id:"0192ee28-86ba-714f-9975-2abb567370c6",slug:"Order-on-R-Framing-and-approximation-or-High-School-Math-PowerPoint-Lesson-Slides-24203502",title:"Order on R-Framing and approximation | High School Math PowerPoint Lesson Slides",description:"Are you teaching your High School students about **Order on R- Framing and approximation?** Plenty of examples and application exercises are included. Reverse & Compound Percentages Follow Me US Version
By LittleStreams
These 30 follow me cards are a great way to revise compound and reverse percentages including increasing and decreasing, and compound interest and depreciation.
Play is similar to dominoes, where the cards are placed end to end with the question to the answers, but each question only has one answer. Students connect the questions and answers together forming a chain, with questions steadily getting harder.
A calculator is recommended for the final 15 questions at least.
Some ideas for how to use follow me cards:
For an advanced start, begin on page two of the record sheet (the first card number is given).

Comparing Systems of Linear Equations: Grade 8 Math
By EZMath
Want to know if your 8th grade math students can tell when a system of linear equations has one solution, no solution, or infinitely many solutions? How about if they know when to use elimination or substitution strategically?
This presentation includes 10 questions (23 slides total) that has students work in groups to determine which statement is true between two given systems of equations. Which system has no solution? Which system has infinitely many solutions? Which system is better suited for the elimination method? Teams must be able to determine the answer through visual inspection, then back up their answers verbally.
Great as a review activity before an exam, or as a mid-unit formative assessment to track progress towards mastery.
This lesson also includes a quick paper/pencil exit ticket students can do individually so you can assess each students' mastery, with answer key included.
Included in Activity:
- Link to Google Slide Deck for classroom presentation
- Complete directions for how I like to run the activity
- Printable student answer choice cards
- Printable student Exit Ticket
- Complete Exit Ticket solutions

Math Links- Systems of Linear Equations- (NYT game "Connections")
By Howlin' Husky Math Games
Have you ever played the New York Times game, "Connections"? This worksheet combines this premise with math to put an exciting spin on learning.
This version concentrates on solving systems of linear equations using substitution.
Students will solve or simplify the sixteen problems. Then they will inspect the answers and try to find similarities. The sixteen answers can be grouped into four smaller sub groups ranging in difficulty from easy to tricky to find (yellow, green, blue, purple). Each group will have a distinct trait that puts them in this group.
Students can check to make sure a group is correct before trying to find another group. If they guess wrong, they check off a mistake box. Student should try to get all four groups with the least amount of mistakes!
