Use this banner to select a student weekly. I hang ribbon under the banner and clip the child's name to it. I also teach two sections so I actually hang two ribbons! The kids love seeing who will be selected each week! I try not to base the student of the week on grades and try to focus more on improvement shown, effort, etc. I give each child a small certificate that they can take home, and the best part is that they also get to visit the treasure chest! I used these signs as a bathroom management flip chart. I print the first sheet out on green (go) and the second sheet on red (wait). I punch holes at the top and put rings in the holes. Then I hang them on command hooks and place in a good visual spot in my classroom for everyone to see at all times. During work time I flip the sign to green and during lessons I flip the chart to red. Hope you enjoy!
