Idioms are reviewed in this packet that pop up in the book, unfamiliar vocabulary and how they are used is included in this packet, along with short answer and multiple choice comprehension questions that connect with the story that was read. Some of the comprehension questions in this product relate with students own experiences. Vocabulary words, their meanings, and a few example sentences are presented in the packet. Looking for a great story to read for Earth day here is a wonderful children's book about planting and growing a garden.

We are the Gardeners by Joanna Gaines is a fun story about a family who works together to garden. This story teaches the reader about the importance of hard work and never giving up. Along with teaching great morals, this story also teaches about actual gardening (including what animals help, which animals are bad, and what plants need to grow).

Through reading and interacting with this story, students will learn the joys of hard work, never giving up, and planting a garden. This pack includes activity pages covering vocabulary, note taking, writing prompts, and quiz for younger and older students.
