As our Deaf/hard of hearing/ELL students are completing written assignments, little words/parts of speech that are commonly confused when writing such as is, are, was, were, have, had, do, did, the, and a are emphasized in this product. This is a simple worksheet that helps students practice combine sentences using and. One side of the sheet is where students will write a new sentence by combining the two given sentences. The second side is where they read through different options and choose the best sentence.

This worksheet has two pages of practice. Students will practice combining sentences using but, and, so, and or. One side of the sheet students will rewrite the two sentences into one sentence using the correct conjunction. The second side of the sheet students will just write the conjunction they would use to combine the two sentences.
