Montessori Math Place Value Notation Cards - Expanded, Standard, and Word Form

With these printable notation cards your students will practice reading and translating numbers in expanded, standard, and word form, as well as in Golden Bead (Base Ten Blocks) form. They can read one side, translate the number by making it with the Montessori math materials or by writing it down, then they would check the back of the card to see if they were right. They can also work in the other direction by starting on the opposite side of the card.

➡️ For best results you will need to print double-sided.

Montessori Math Place Value with Golden Beads Small and Large Booklets

Place value is so important for a good mathematical foundation. Do your Lower Elementary students get enough practice with the Golden Bead material? Do they have a hard time moving from a concrete understanding of numbers to the more abstract written form? Save yourself some time and aggravation with these printable booklets. Each booklet increases in difficulty and can be used alongside the Montessori Golden Beads (or Base Ten Blocks) to build better number sense and help students make the connection between the beads and place value.

This bundle includes the large and small versions of the booklets. Both booklets have the same problems, but the large version has more scaffolding for beginners and the small version is appropriate for more advanced learners.
You can sample (for free!) the first booklet in this version and in the smaller version to see if they will work for you.
