Dot Painting – A Fine Motor Activity

Fine motor skill is the coordination of small muscles, in movements – usually involving the synchronization of hands and fingers – with eyes.

Building letters activity for Capital Letters

In this hands on, multisensory activity, students won’t even realize they are learning! In this resource, they will learn letter formation by first building the letter with bricks, coloring the brick letter, tracing the letter, and then writing the letter.

Building letters with blocks is not only a fun and engaging way to learn letter formation, but students are working on foundational fine motor skills needed for writing.
