1. How to prep:

I printed and laminated the story pages the evening before. I also printed the coloring page and the memory verse activity sheets the evening before.

2. I read the story pages. Students can color while I read to help them focus.

3. I showed the story cards (just smaller versions of the slides that students take home) to students and asked them to repeat as much of the story back to me as they can.

4. Students can put the puzzle together and retell again if there is time.

5. Students can also work on the word search or counting activity, depending on the age.

6. Sequencing activity - cut out the bottom half of the page and have the students cut out the picture boxes. Students can put the correct picture with the correct caption.

No! While I prefer to use The Beginner’s Bible Timeless Children’s Stories by Zondervan with these lessons, they are not required. You can easily use your own favorite Bible Story book, Scripture, or simply read the Bible Summary in the actual lesson that retells the Bible story.

Statement of Faith:

I believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. I believe that Jesus is fully God and fully human, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and paid the penalty for our sins through his death on the cross, resurrected on the third day having victory over death. I believe in the trinity, that God is existent in 3 separate persons - God the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe, as Calvary Chapel states, “that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a fun, engaging way to teach about Noah's Ark. There is some prep work for the teacher, but the instructions are very clear and should only take a few minutes, depending on the number of children. There are four challenges to complete. Materials needed are:

• card stock (if possible) for ID tags and keys
• yarn for ID tags
• 2 paper plates
• 2 popsicle sticks
• 8 pieces of construction paper
• glue
• kid scissors
• crayons or markers
• baggies - gallon size, if possible

Students LOVE doing escape rooms! This activity is ideal for a mixed group of ages and groups of between 2 and 12 children.
