Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the characters. Two social stories focus on feeling hopeless, how to change your mindset, starting something that be challenging and new and how you may feel when doing that and why you may feel hopeless, feeling like you can't do anything right even though you try your hardest, change your mindset and look at something your doing with a different perspective. The social stories include comprehension questions throughout. Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the characters. Feeling Left Out Social Story and Role-Playing Scenarios

This product includes 1 social story that focuses on feeling left out. Students will learn the meaning for the words feeling left out, forgotten, excluded, missed out, banned, prohibited, included, and jumping to conclusions.
In the social story that is included in this product that relates with feeling left out, what can happen when you feel left out, what can happen if you jump to conclusions when you feel left out, what you can do when you feel left out, and how you would feel when you are included in events and activities. Students will also think about different scenarios that are presented about what they could do if they feel left out, feel included, or jump to conclusions.
The social story includes comprehension questions throughout. Some of the questions require students to put their feet in the shoes of the characters. At the end of this product, there are 4 role-playing scenario cards that will require students to discuss how they feel when they are feeling left out and what each character feels in each situation and why, what the character can do to feel better about the given situation, what the student would do if they were in that situation, etc.
