Students are presented with a variety of comprehension questions based on what happens in the book, I Was So Mad, how they respond to different situations that require the use of feelings - such as feeling mad, and students will share what they did when they felt mad in the past. Students can answer these questions as the book is read to them, as they read the book independently or they can use the text for lookbacks once the book is finished. At the end of the product, you will find 4 role-playing cards that relate with bravery. Students can role-play each situation and talk about how they would feel if they were in the situation.
