In this product, students will learn the sign and English vocabulary word for the 68 different holiday (Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa) vocabulary flashcards presented. The sign and picture card for each flashcard can be printed out on cardstock, laminated, and cut for students to match, practice and learn the English word and sign for each holiday (Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa) vocabulary word presented. Students can play a matching game, guess the sign for each holiday vocabulary word, or draw a picture when presented with each holiday sign just to name a few.

Phonics is a method for learning to read in general, while sight words instruction increases a child’s familiarity with the high frequency words he will encounter most often. Sight word flashcards and posters can be used to introduce new words, practice previously taught words, and to practice in many different ways as listed below!
Ways to use:
- Flashcard reading practice
- Word Walls
- Whole punched and put on rings in sets
- Games
- Centers
- ABC order
- Word Work
- Write the room
- Spelling with manipulatives or play dough or with the baseball letter cards from my store
- and many more!
The set includes a full page card for each word as well as a smaller flashcard for each word. These can be used at center time, small group instruction, or individual practice in order to increase sight word recognition.
