Listening Sheet - There are no wrong answers! Students can note how they feel and what they imagine while listening to a selected piece of music. Choose from the musical instruments, nature scenes, colors, and more.

Weather & Feelings - Weather is a recurring theme in classical music. Does a musical piece remind the listener of a snowy day or a cheerful sunny afternoon? Students can select the weather symbols that come to mind. Is the music happy or sad? A set of emotional characters allows your group to pick the feelings that best relate to a piece of music.

Use lessons for "From Head to Toe" and "Little Cloud" to move and explore shapes in your classroom. Use "The Very Quiet Cricket" to teach steady beat and whisper voice. Finally, use the book "Pancakes, Pancakes" to teach sixteenth note rhythms. Have the children move and play along, and then reinforce their knowledge with additional worksheets. The next level in the Rock'n'Rollin' method books! In R'n'R 2, we transition from a simple 3-line staff, to a full 5-line staff. The book focuses on getting students used to reading and playing on the 5-line staff. Introducing the Rock’N’Rollin’ For Preschoolers book from ZS Music Publishing. Rock’N’Rollin’ For Preschoolers is a precursor to the Rock’N’Rollin’ Level 1 to prepare the younger drummer for their music career.

Rock’N’Rollin’ For Preschoolers is a scaffolded book that starts off by teaching Bass Drum and adds on instruments throughout the book. The book is designed for junior drum sets with the idea that these drum sets may or may not have three Tom Drums to accommodate all kinds of sets.

Students will gradually learn the instruments one by one and together. The layout of the concepts are:
